  • Congestion continues
It is reported that the Danish research and analysis company Sea-Intelligence used the congestion update data released by HMM from November 16, 2020 to December 16, 2021, to study the increased congestion related to the container terminals at both ends and the multiple related to the terminal. Congestion of intermodal transport. The North American Terminal Congestion Index shows that congestion peaked in mid-September this year, and then there was a short-term improvement in early October. However, this improvement was quickly reversed and congestion reached its highest level in history. Sea-Intelligence said that although the congestion data used comes from HMM, it cannot guarantee that the experience of a specific company can fully represent all other operators in the world, but as a major global operator and a member of THE alliance, it believes that it should reflect the overall market situation. "Although people are very concerned about the congestion problem and hope to solve the same problem, the reality experienced by HMM is that the port congestion problem in Europe is getting worse, and the congestion problem in North America continues to be at a historical high, and there is no sign of improvement." Sea- Intelligence CEO Alan Murphy pointed out. In terms of multimodal transport congestion, the situation in North America continues to deteriorate, and there are recent signs in Europe that the situation has deteriorated slightly. Murphy concluded: "As we enter the peak period before the Spring Festival (in the next six weeks), the situation is likely to get worse before it improves."

  • Energy Consumption
[Dual Control of Energy Consumption" Policy of the Chinese Government Last year, the Chinese government has officially announced that China aims to reach peak emissions before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060, which means that China only have 30 years for continuous and rapid emissions cuts. To build a community of common destiny, the Chinese people have to work hard and make unprecedented progress. To commit the promise to the world that China will meet the emission peak in year 2030 and carbon neutrality in year 2060, Chinese local governments have taken strict-ever actions to reduce release of CO2 and energy comsumption by restricted supply of electricity power. In September, many local governments in China began to implement strict "dual control system of energy consumption" policies. Our production lines as well as our upstream supply chain partners were all affected to a certain extent. In addition, the China Ministry of Ecology and Environment has issued the draft of "2021-2022 Autumn and Winter Action Plan for Air Pollution Management" in September. This autumn and winter (from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022), the production capacity in some industries may be further restricted. Some areas supply 5 days and stop 2 days in a week, some supply 3 and stop 4 days, some even just supply 2 days but stop 5 days. These actions will result in a terrible increase of all costs, from raw materials to packing materials, from labor cost to ports operation costs. Therefore, if you have a demand for hydraulic breaker, order as soon as possible. Otherwise, the price will increase in the future. Our company has been committed to providing customers with high-quality products and thoughtful service. Prior to this, we have made every effort to mitigate the impacts of issues like rising raw material costs and exchange rate fluctuations and to avoid price increases.

  • Chinese Dragon Boat Festival 2021
The Dragon Boat Festival, also called the Duanwu Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. This festival is to commemorate the death of QU Yuan, an upright and honest poet and statesman who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a river. The most important activity of this festival is the Dragon Boat races. It symbolizes people`s attempts to rescue Qu Yuan. In the current period, these races also demonstrate the virtues of cooperation and teamwork. Besides, the festival has also been marked by eating zong zi (glutinous rice). Zong zi is made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves. People who mourned the death of Qu threw Zong zi into the river to feed his ghost every year. With the changes of the times, the memorial turns to be a time for protection from evil and disease for the rest of year. People will hang healthy herbs on the front door to clear the bad luck of the house. Although the significance of the festival might be different with the past, it still gives the observer an opportunity to glimpse a part of the rich Chinese cultural heritage.
